Hi, I'm Samridhi, founder of 9to5.

The idea for 9to5 came from a frustration I experienced myself.

Every time I needed formalwear—for internships, networking events, presentations, or work—I found myself searching through the same limited options. The pieces were often too corporate, difficult to style, or simply didn't feel like something I wanted to wear.

After completing my Master's, I decided to stop waiting for better options and create them instead.

9to5 was built to make formalwear feel more modern, versatile, and approachable. Clothing that works for real life—not just the office. Pieces that can take you from meetings to coffee runs, presentations to dinners, without feeling out of place.

Every design begins with a simple question: would I genuinely want to wear this myself?

If the answer is no, it doesn't make the cut.
